Attorney General Rutledge Launches First Ad: God’s Country

October 2, 2021

LITTLE ROCK – Attorney General Leslie Rutledge is kicking off her first campaign ad of the 2022 gubernatorial campaign before the highly anticipated game of Arkansas Razorbacks versus the Georgia Bulldogs.

Attorney General Rutledge  released the following  statement:

“I’m a seventh-generation Arkansan who grew up on a cattle farm, married to a row crop farmer, and mom to a 3-year-old baby girl. I will always defend all that God has given us. Throughout the last seven years as Attorney General, I’ve kept Planned Parenthood off the taxpayer’s dime and led the fight to protect our God-given freedoms like religious liberty and the Second Amendment. As Governor, I will use my experience to protect our Constitutional rights from the radical, woke Left, and I will fight to make Arkansas first to ensure our children will prosper and grow right here in God’s country.”

“God’s Country” transcript:

Arkansas.

Some call it a fly-over state, we call it God’s country.

And this is where we do God’s work, like ending abortion.

That’s why I kept Planned Parenthood off the taxpayer dime. Making Arkansas the most pro-life state in the nation.

For 7 years, I’ve led the fight to protect our God-given freedoms like religious liberty and the Second Amendment.

Arkansas is one big small town, and I will use my experience to protect all that God has given us.
