January 15, 2021

LITTLE ROCK – Attorney General Leslie Rutledge announced today a cumulative fundraising haul of more than a million dollars already for her 2022 bid for Governor. Rutledge raised $1,032,855.19 in just the first two quarters of her historic gubernatorial bid to become The Natural State’s first female governor.

“I continue to be humbled that amid a pandemic, tumultuous 2020 election cycle and the busy holiday season, that so many would contribute their hard-earned money to advance our shared vision to Make Arkansas First,” said Attorney General Rutledge. “We have already started 2021 with a strong and effective push to raise the funds necessary to win through highlighting my record of accomplishments over the last six years; combined with my vision for the future of our great state.”

Attorney General Rutledge enthusiastically worked last quarter to help advance conservative candidates across the state and country. Rutledge traveled to numerous different swing states for the Presidential campaign and crucial congressional races. As her campaign for Governor continues, Rutledge remains committed to earning the votes of Arkansans by focusing on her record of accomplishments.

Rutledge has effectively fought to decrease regulations that hurt job creators, worked to protect our constitutional rights, and has held criminals and con-artists accountable for their actions. Notably, Rutledge‘s proud pro-life litigation record has made Arkansas the most pro-life state in America. She recently won a huge healthcare case at the U.S. Supreme Court by an 8-0 decision that will make prescription drugs more affordable and accessible. Rutledge is also leading a fight to defend our Second Amendment rights. Rutledge has always fought for the people of this great State as their Attorney General and she will always fight for Arkansans as Governor.
